V sobotu, 5. 12. 2015 rozezní moderní scénu holešovické La Fabriky hudba slavných současných hudebních skladatelů Ianise Xenakise, Steve Reicha, Johna Cage, Eckhardta Kopetzkiho a Casey Cangelosiho, a diváky rozpulsuje originální premiérová taneční choreografie. Symbióza dvou silných uměleckých disciplín - hudba bicích nástrojů a tanec, které jsou zde rovnocennými partnery, v podání uznávaných českých perkusionistů, tanečníků a choreografů.
Projekt PULS je nová forma prezentace hudebních koncertů v tanečně pohybovém představení, která propojuje moderní interpretaci soudobých skladeb a taneční choreografie. Současní hudební interpreti a skladatelé spolu s mladými choreografy a tanečníky využívají nové možnosti vztahu pohybu těla a zvuku.
Pulsace, hra s pohybem, zvuk a mechanika perkusí prostupuje a ovlivňuje samotný tanec. Tělo se stává nástrojem, nástroj se hýbe před očima. Puls, tep, organismus. Ruka je paličkou, tělo tepe. Impulsy. Silný repertoár, umělecký a emoční zážitek, atmosféra. Moderní hudba, choreografický koncert, který inspiruje tělo a rozproudí energii.
PULS 2015 divákům nabízí atraktivní výběr skladeb pro bicí nástroje s doprovodem taneční choreografie Dany Pala ( DANA PALA CREATIVITY) - Third construction od světového skladatele Johna Cage a také divácky oblíbená Night of Moon Dances od Eckhardta Kopetzkiho. Večer otevře skladba Rebonds B od Ianise Xenakise s originální pohybovou performancí Moniky Šmídové. Anton Ždanovič uvede českou premiéru Meditation no. 1 Casey Cangelosiho. Také zazní i „klasika“ ze světa bicích nástrojů - rozpohybované Clapping music a Nagoya marimbas Steve Reicha. V choreografii i taneční interpretaci diváci uvidí Danu Pala, Moniku Šmídovou, Dašu Horváthovou, Helena Šťávovou a Petru Hájkovou. Na bicí nástroje zahrají perkusionisti Jakub Tengler, Roman Ždanovič, Šimon Veselý a Ladislav Bilan pod vedením Dana Mikoláška. Anton Ždanovič rozezvučí mimo jiné i sólové party pro marimbu a perkuse.
První projekt PULS je realizován za podpory Hudební Akademie Múzických Umění v Praze a Nadace Život Umělce.

Životopis:
Choreografka a tanečnice Dana Pala vystudovala Taneční konzervatoř hlavního města Prahy a získala magisterský titul v oblasti choreografie na pražské HAMU pod vedením Daniela Wiesnera a Jana Kodeta. Během studií absolvovala stáž v Institutu del Teatre Barcelona, své metody taneční pedagogiky a choreografie pro herce aplikovala v Teatre SANS v Palma na Mallorce v sezóně 2013/14. Ve vlastní autorské tvorbě se zaměřuje na využívání netradičních prostor a zkoumá možnosti provázání choreografie s moderní technikou a současnou hudební skladbou v České republice i ve Španělsku. V Praze vytvořila úspěšné představení pro prostor kostela Nejsvětějšího Srdce Páně. Nyní je choreografkou premérové opery Slavík/ Jolanta režiséra Dominka Beneše v Národním divadle v Praze. Získala ocenění za nejlepší choreografický taneční projekt roku 2014 od Taneční Asociace Baleárských Ostrovů a její taneční film Materia uspěl mezi 15 nejlepšími z celého světa na festivalu Videodanza.
Anton Ždanovič (narozen 6.6.1991) pochází z Běloruského Solihorsku. Do Prahy přišel po maturitě na hudebním gymnáziu Běloruské akademie hudby v Minsku (2005-2010), po níž nastoupil na Hudební a taneční fakultu Akademie múzických umění do bakalářského stupně (2011-2014). V rámci programu Erasmus pobýval v akademickém roce 2014/2015 na Conservatorio di Musica G.B. Pergolesi v italském městě Fermo. Zúčastnil se mistrovských kurzů Bělorusko - Rusko v Moskvě (2009) a Symposia v Trstěnicích (2010).
Již během studia v Bělorusku se výrazně prosadil v řadě soutěží, z ocenění můžeme jmenovat např. 1. cenu v Mezinárodní soutěži „Muzyka nadzei“ (2004, Gomel, Bělorusko), 3. cenu v Republikové běloruské soutěži „Marimba-marathon“ (2006, Minsk, Bělorusko), 2. cenu v Republikové běloruské soutěži „Snare drum-maraton“ (2007, Minsk, Bělorusko) a 3. cenu v Republikové běloruské soutěži „Timpani-marathon“ (2009). I po příchodu do Prahy pokračoval úspěšně v dalších soutěžích, z nichž si odnesl ceny: 2. cena v Mezinárodní soutěži „Eugen Coca“ (2012, Kišiněv, Moldávie), 3. cena v Mezinárodní soutěži „Italy Percussion Competition“, kategorie tympány (2013, Montesilvano, Itálie), 2. cena v Mezinárodní soutěži “Giovani Musicisti“ (2014, Treviso, Itálie) a 1. cena v Mezinárodní soutěži “Svirel“ (2014, Štanjel, Slovinsko). Na základě těchto úspěchů získal stipendium speciálního fondu prezidenta Běloruské republiky na podporu talentované mládeže (2005) a stipendium Nadace Český hudební fond (2013.
Sólově vystoupil v letech 2009-2010 s komorním orchestrem Běloruské státní filharmonie (Minsk, Bělorusko) a s Orchestrem Berg (Praha, 2014). Zúčastnil se jako hráč na bicí nástroje festivalu „Crossdrumming“ (2009, Varšava, Polsko), Mezinárodního festivalu bicích nástrojů (2012 a 2014, Brno), Litevského mezinárodního festivalu bicích nástrojů (2013, Vilnius, Litva) a Mezinárodního festivalu „Days of Percussion“ (2013, Montesilvano, Itálie).
S orchestrální praxí začal jako hráč v Národním akademickém Velkém divadle opery a baletu Běloruské republiky v Minsku (2010-2011), prošel orchestrálními akademiemi v PKF (2013-2014) a ve Filharmonii Brno (2014-2016), v současnosti je frekventantem podobné formy opět v PKF (2015-2016) a v České filharmonii (2015-2017).

All, which has rhythm, causes movement. PULS is in the body, in the space and on the 5th of November 2015 also in La Fabrika!
On saturday, 5th of November 2015 the modern stage of La Fabrika in Holešovice resound with the music of well known contemporary composers such as Ianis Xenakis, Steve Reich, John Cage, Eckhardt Kopetzki and Casey Cangelosi. The spectators will feel the pulse of an original dance choreography premiere. The symbiosis of two strong artistic disciplines - the music of percussive instruments and dance, concieved as equal partners, peformed by respected Czech percussionists, dancers and choreographers.
PULS is a new form of presenting musical concerts in a kinetic dance show, which links modern interpretation of contemporary pieces and dance choreography. Contemporary musical performers and composers together with young choreographers and dancers use new opportunities to relate the movement of body and sound.
Pulsation, playfulness of movement, sound and the mechanics of the percussions influences and moves through the dance itself The body becomes the instrument, the instrument moves before your eyes. Pulse, beat, organism. The arm is the drumstick, the body beats. Impulses. Strong repertoire, artistic and emotional experience, atmosphere. Modern music, choreographic concertn which inspires the body and makes energy flow.
PULS 2015 offers spectators an attractive selection of pieces for percussions accompanied by the choreography of Dana Pala (DANA PALA CREATIVITY) - Third construction from the composer John Cage, Night of Moon Dances - a crowd favourite by Eckhardt Kopetzki. The evening will be commenced by Rebonds B by Ianis Xenakis with an original kinetic performance by Monika Smidová. Anton Zdanovic will present the Czech premiere of Meditation no. 1 by Casey Cangelosi You will hear classics from the world of percussive music - animated Clapping music and Nagoya marimbas by Stever Reich. Thechoreography and performance will be done by Dana Pala, Monika Smidova, Dasa Horvathova, Helena Stavova and Petra Hajkova. The percussion instruments will be played by Jakub Tengler, Roman Zdanovic, Simon Vesely and Ladislav Bilan under the direction of Dan Mikolasek. Anton Zdanovic will play solos for marimba and percussions.
The first PULS project is made possibly by the support of HAMU and the Zivot Umelce foundation.

Choreographer and dancer Dana Pala studied at The Dance Conservatory of the city of Prague and she gained a Masters in Choreography at HAMU under the supervision of Daniel Weisner and Jan Kodet. While studying she interned at The Institut del Teatre Barcelona and she applied her methods of dance pedagogy and choreography to her work with the actors at The Teatre SANS in Palma on Mallorca in 2013/14. In her own work she uses untraditional spaces and she examines the possibilities of the connection of choreography with modern techniques and contemporary music in the Czech Republic and Spain. She put on a successful performance in ther Church Of The Sacred Heart in Prague. She is currently a choreographer of the Nightingale/Jolanta under director Dominik Beneš in the National Theatre in Prague. She has a prize for best choreographic dance project of 2014 from The Dance Association of the Baleares and her dance film Materia was in the final 15 internationally at Videodanza.
Anton Ždanovič (born 6.6.1991) comes from Belarusian Solihorsk. He has came to Prague after his graduation at the musical lyceum of The Belarus Academy of Music in Minsk (2005-2010), after which he has attended Bc. At The Musical and Choreographical Department of The Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (2011-2014). He studied at the Conservatorio di Musica G.B. Pergolesi in the Italian city Fermo as an Erasmus student. He took part in the workshops in Bielarus – Russia in Moscow (2009) and Symposium in Trstěnice (2010).
During his studies in Belarus he won a considerable recognition in a number of competitions, such as the 1st prize at the International Competition "Muzyka nadzei" (2004, Gomel, Belarus), 3rd prize in the competition of the Belarusian Republic's "Marimba-marathon" (2006 , Minsk, Belarus), 2nd prize in the competition of the Belarusian Republic's "Snare drum-Marathon" (2007, Minsk, Belarus) and the 3rd prize in the competition of the Belarusian Republic's "Timpani-marathon" (2009). Even after coming to Prague he continued successfully in other competitions, one of which gave him these prizes: 2nd prize at the International Competition "Eugen Coca" (2012, in Chisinau, Moldova), 3rd prize at the International Competition "Italy Percussion Competition" in the category of Timpani ( 2013 Montesilvano, Italy), 2nd prize at the International Competition "Giovani Musicisti" (2014, Treviso, Italy) and 1st prize at the International Competition "svirel" (2014, Štanjel, Slovenia). Based on these successes he gained a scholarship from the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for support of talented youth (2005), and Scholarship from The Foundation Czech Music Fund (2013).
He appeared in solos in 2009-2010 with the Chamber Orchestra of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Orchestra (Minsk, Belarus) and the Berg Orchestra (Prague, 2014). He participated as a percussionist at the festival "Crossdrumming" (2009, Warsaw, Poland), International Festival of Percussion (2012 and 2014, Brno), the Lithuanian international festival of percussion instruments (2013, Vilnius, Lithuania) and the International Festival "Days of Percussion "(2013, Montesilvano, Italy).
Anton has started the orchestral experience as a player in the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus in Minsk (2010-2011), he went through the orchestral academies in PKF (2013-2014) and the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra (2014-2016), currently he is a trainee of a similar form again at PKF (2015-2016) and the Czech Philharmonic (2015-2017).
He is supported by the Young Artist Foundation and the Foundation of the Czech Music Fund.
